Exhibition of abstract paintings
■‘Penny I For Your Horse" is the intriguing title a Dunedin artist, John Robinson, has given his exhibition of; paintings to be shown at the Several Arts. Upstairs I Gallery from Friday. Robinson recently exhibited at the Moray Gallery 'in Dunedin. His first overseas exhibition of 13 acrylics on paper is on show until Friday at the New Zealand I Consulate General in New .York. The works- for the Several { Arts* exhibition are large abstract! paintings i Rpbinsqn trained as a jeweller {before studying for a diploma of fine arts at Otaao Polvtechnic from 1978 to 1980. I ; j He has' exhibited often in Dunedin. Central Otago. Southland. Christchurch and {the North Island.
