Cabinet holds another guidance session
PA i Wellington :A: human relations expert, Mr Mike Gourley, was once again closeted with members of the Cabinet yesterday in the third of his exercises with Government members in “team dynamics."
The Prime Minister, Mr Lange, has described Mr Gourley’s activities as that of a “facilitator,” helping Cabinet members know one another’s strengths and weaknesses so that they can work together better.
Their first encounter was during a closed threeday session at an Ashburton hotel, when members of the entire caucus were locked in long sessions with Mr Gourley.
The exercise was apparently regarded as a success, and the Cabinet later, had its own session with Mr Gourley at the end of last month.
j “We are engaged in a process of how we, as Cabinet people, can work better with each other, come to understandings,” Mr Lange said at a press conference at the time.
