[However the hurdlers' Hayle, Ampac, Applicate; Tonusho and Aussie Bound had their moment in the sun too even if the sun iwas reluctant to cooperate. | ' [Hayle schooled on his own with Willie Harnett .up and looked in good shape to test the topweight tomorrow while Ampac and Applicate Went over batten hurdles. Their trainers Ned Thistoll and Gail Whitnail, are looping to campaign at Trentham next month and while Applicate has had a lot of batten experience Ampac is relatively new to them. Both jumped reasonably well and then Ampac showed how fit he is with a 1200 m solo gallop in 1:17.2, the last 600 m in 37.65. 1 Tonusho and Aussie Bound jumped well together the occasion giving Dominic McKenzie a clearance to ride over hurdles. He will probably ride Aussie Bound tomorrow. I Other work included. I Plough; slow ! Big Chance (Miles) closing 600 m in 425. Corsicana (Heathon) and Time Flies (Kerr) 600 m in , 38.65. ! Cordayno (Quayle) and ; Clover Row (Jamieson) easy 1200 m, in 1:24, last 600 m in 40s.

Syrian Sea (Kennedy) and Rage (Mercer) shading Regal Romp (Quayle) 800 m in 5L3s last 600 m in 37.3 s travelling well, Beks (Pitman) running clear of Dester (Williams) 1200 m in 1:20.7 last 600m' in 40.65. Replete (Oakeshott) 800 m in 55s last 600 m in 41s. i Fly Baby and Vinegar Lii (lightweights) easy 600 m in 40.25. Zaheer (Mercer) 600 m in 36.85. Essayeur (Cullen) and Immunity (Williams) 600 m in 40.45.
