British bingo winner plans trip to N.Z.

in London A British newspaper Bingo winner, Mrs Mary Fletcher, will spend some of the cash on a trip to see friends in New Zealand. [ Mrs Fletcher won more than $BO,OOO in the "Sun” newspaper’s bingo game. She and her husband, Leslie, will visit old friends in New Zealand where they lived for 14 years before returning to Britain 23 years ago.

“New Zealand was lovely and I have always dreamed of going back there,” said Mrs Fletcher. “My son, Billy, was born there and we still hold fond memories of it.” Mr and Mrs Fletcher who now live in Ripley, Derbyshire, emigrated to Christchurch in 1951. They have always wanted to return for a visit, but could never afford the fare. “Now there is nothing to stop us. I feel shell-
