Benefits for Coates in N.Z.
The chairman of Coates Brothers (NZ), Ltd, MrjC. J. Fernyhough, said the company’s parent in (he United Kingdom; Coates Brothers, Pic, had last month acquired a major European printing Ink company, Lorilleux International. As part of the transaction, CdF I Cheniie, formerly the parent com-
pany of Lorilleux and a principal French chemical .company, will have a 40 per cent shareholding in Coates.
He said the benefits to the; New Zealand company would be to enhance its ability to draw upon international research and development to service the New Zealand printing industry.
