Microlight’s wings ‘folded’
jThe wings of a microlight which ;cr ashed near Ashburton {on { Sunday folded up before, it plummetted to the ground, witnesses have told the police. Andrew Owen Bell, aged 22, a farmer, died after his Pterodactyl single-seat ; ! aircraft crashed just after 7 p.m. at Dorie, near Rakaia.
The aircraft appeared to have been flying normally at a height of about 20m before the crash. An inspector of air accidents inspected the scene on the Bell family farm yesterday. I {
