St James set to resume

Special correspondent Auckland An interesting runner at Tauranga today will be the three-year-old, St James, in the second leg of the Whakatane Racing Club’s T.A.B. double. A winner of four of his five races' —- two as a two-year-old and a further two last spring — St James developed a back problem which caused him to be put aside after he won the John Grigg Classic at A§hburton in early September.

Today’s Murupara Hotel Handicap, a class 2 1300 metres, will be his first race since he was sent
