Burglars ransack school
; Four classrooms at* the Lincoln Primary School were ransacked by burglars on Friday night. || , Constable Rex Hallinan, of Lincoln, said the** offenders gained entry jto a prefabricated block by removing louvre windows. They then moved through four rooms, tossing books and emptying pencil cases from about half the desks. ; Teachers’ desks were also ransacked and * obscenities written on blackboards.
Constable Hallinan* appealed for information about any suspicious activity at or near the school, on the North Belt.
A person ,was seen in the school grounds about 3 p.m., he said.
