You will be responsible for leading a small team of mechanical fitters to carry out mechanical maintenance of generation equipment associated with our 3 power stations, and station buildings and 30 village houses. The job is based at Tuai, situated near Lake Waikaremoana and some 50 kms from Wairoa. If you enjoy a wide range of outdoor recreational activities, Urewera National Park is nearby. Such activities include hunting (deer and pigs), fishing, boating and white water rafting (numerous lakes and rivers are readily accessible). Accommodation is available (both single and family) at Tuai Village. There is a primary school and a daily bus service runs to Wairoa for secondary schooling. There are a number of remuneration advantages, accommodation rentals are very reasonable, a special allowance is payable due to the more out of the way location of Tuai and home electricity bills are generously subsidised. Up to half removal expenses are payable for new employees joining the company.
