Debbie Ar wins debut
Debbie Ar made an auspicious winning debut in the Stanmore Super Value Mobile Pace for maiden three-year-old fillies at the New Brighton Trotting Club’s meeting at Addington Raceway last evening.
The daughter of Midshipman began well to dispute the pace outside the favourite, Quest For Glory, through the opening quarter in 28.25, then steadied to get some cover.
Out to attack three wide in the third line from the 600 m Debbie Ar applied the pressure across the top and kept going strongly to win by half a neck from the strong-fin-ishing Amorous.
