MOTOR RACING
Peter Black, of Christchurch, won two of the three mini-championship races held at Teretonga Park, Invercargill, last week-end. The surprise of the meeting was the form of Dean Milligan, aged 18, who in only his first race meeting established a new lap record for the class of Imin 17.09 sec jointly with Grant Ransley. Doug Ferguson, with zero points, retained his New Zealand Moth-class national title, which finished at Lake Brunner on Monday. The Canterbury skipper, Jason Henderson, an 18 year old novice to the class, finished fourth over all, and Stephen Church, of Shirley Boy’s High School, won the national junior under-18 title. Final over all results: Huggy Bear (D. Ferguson, Auckland) O points 1; Magic (P. Bushman, Auckland) 17.7, 2; Pussy (M. Hills, Auckland) 25.4, 3; Corinthian (J.
