Tourism Council chairman
PA Wellington Mr Rodney Walshe has been appointed the new chairman of the New Zealand Tourism Council, the Minister of Tourism, Mr Goff announced. Mr Walshe is chairman of directors of South Pacific Travel Holdings, Ltd, and has served in several important positions in New Zealand tourism. He succeeds Mr John Milne who has been chairman of the council sinceMt was established in 1983. Mr Milne remains a couhcil member.
