C. Kondos. The Department is responsible for.presentation of all subjects concerned with animal studies in certificate, associate diploma, degree, postgraduate diploma and masterate courses. Staff of the Department include the Head, seventeen academic and instructional staff, seven technical staff and a number of field assistants. The Department’s activities focus on the husbandry and science of animal production. Six well established fleld/productlon units are utilised for teaching, research, demonstration and extension actlvles. The position is tenured and the appointment, according to qualifications and experience, will be in the ranges: Principal Lecturer 111 $A46,087 per annum Principal Lecturer II $A47,943 per annum Principal Lecturer I $A49,790 per annum Applicants should possess a relevant higher degree, be pre-eminent In one of the animal sciences, with demonstrated qualities of initiative and leadership in teaching, research and administrative ability.
