Nelson inquiries
Gold Row, which galloped for a few strides 200 m out in the DB Draught Nelson Cup on Saturday then fell, causing the trailing Arkwright to be brought down, has been stood down by the stipendiary stewards until February 29. Gold Row will then be required to trial to the stewards’ satisfaction on two occasions. Nan’s Pride, which broke hopelessly in the Bush Inn Tavern Trott, My Papa and Lord Drift, which broke at the start of the Railway Hotel Mobile Pace, and Farmer Khan, which began to stop 1500 m out in the Collingwood Tavern Mobile Pace, all have to trial twice satisfactorily before racing again.
