Heritage status
Sir, —The promotion of World Heritage control over 2.2 M hectares of south-west New Zealand is being advanced by two distinct groups: (1) The inner circle within the “conservation movement” and (2) a group of politicians on the Left of the spectrum. Control of World Heritage criteria and activity lies with U.N.E.5.C.0., exposed as a corrupt communist tentacle by even TVNZ “World Watch.” Such manipulation of New Zealand land and people fits the aims of the Socialist International, of which the New Zealand Labour Party is a member. Socialist
International has one aim, world socialist government (i.e. international communism). World Heritage for South Westland takes us one step further along the socialist road. — Yours, etc., B. F. PRESTON. January 26, 1988.
