Adder calls in heavies

The little rubber band inside Edmund, Duke of Edinburgh’s head snaps this evening in “The Black Adder” (10.35p.m. on Two). Sick of being humilitated by his father, the King of England, Adder becomes distinctly unbalanced and calls up the biggest group of heavies he can lay his hands on. They are the Black Seal, and a very dirty half-dozen to behold. Their job — to use their considerable physical attributes and help Edmund seize the throne once and for all.
