Men rob youth

A youth was punched and robbed after he refused to hand his wallet over to two men in Christchurch early yesterday morning.

The youth, aged 19, was walking along Colombo Street, near the overhead bridge on Moorhouse Avenue at 3 a.m. when he was approached by two male Maoris.

The men grabbed the youth and shoved him into a vacant lot demanding he give them his wallet.

When he refused he was . punched several times and his wallet, containing $6O was taken.
