Situations Vacant DO METHODIST MISSION SOCIAL WORKERS THE Community and Family Services Department of the Mission is a major social work agency in the City’s network of family support and child care services. The social work methods are generic, with emphasis on a community development approach, early intervention and support. As a result of recent re structuring towards a more preventive and empowering approach to its social work practice, and to replace team members who are leaving to further their professional training, the Mission is offering two positions, one fulltime and one part-time. Applications are invited from persons suitably qualified by virtue of personal qualities, professional training and social work experience. Skills and experience in working with community groups would be an advantage. A compatibility with the objectives of the mission is required. The Mission salary scale for social workers Is related to the public sector salary determination for social workers and its annual adjustments. Salary level at appointment will be determined according to qualifications and experience.
