DIVISIONAL MANAGER Fast Moving Consumer Goods Christchurch Significant manufacturer of food products distributes a range of consumer lines through an autonomous wholly owned subsidiary. Distributing products under own label, licence and/or agency arrangements, divisional profit is excellent and with 35 employees has a turnover in excess of $3O million. Current negotiations with principals will lead to significantly increased market potential. Location is Christchurch. Reporting to the Chief Executive the position has a high level of autonomy, and is responsible for; strategic planning, sales, administration, finance and financial analysis with Distribution Managers (2), Sales Supervisors (3) and an Accountant reporting direct. Prime responsibilities are to manage the business for profit and enhance the presence of the company in the market place. The ideal candidate will have significant knowledge of the sale and distribution of fast moving consumer goods, relevant experience in the successful management of a profit centre in a well organised corporate environment and will probably be aged in the thirties to mid forties. Remuneration package is negotiable and will include an attractive base salary plus car in line with personal experience and a performance related bonus based on divisional profitability.
