Recognition for Fiji
NZPA-AAP Suva Nauru has recognised the Government of the republic of Fiji. Formal recognition of the three-month-old re-, publican Government headed by the President, Ratu Sir Penaia Ganilau, and the Prime Minister, Ratu Sir Kamisese Mara, was conveyed in a diplomatic note from the Nauru ' External Affairs Department, said the Fiji Information Ministry.
