The Young Swan arrived at the Port of Lyttelton at 6.45 p.m. on Wednesday during her maiden voyage to New Zealand. Her voyage began in Japan where she left loaded with coke which was discharged at Bluff. In Lyttelton the Young Swan will be loaded with coal which will then be turned into coke when she returns to Japan. It is estimated that the Young Swan will be loaded with about 57,000 tonnes of coal while in Lyttelton before leaving the port on January 19. ARRIVALS Nil.
