NZPA-Reuter Geneva The international airlines body announced yesterday that it was stepping up the fight against narcotics smuggling by promoting devices to detect hidden drugs. The 168member Geneva-based International Air Transport Association (lATA) said the plan, drawn up at a recent meeting in Washington, involved X-ray machines and closed-cir-cuit television.
