Hadlee ‘no’ to offer
NZPA Brisbane The top New Zealand cricketer, Richard Hadlee, is not interested in playing Lancashire League cricket for Oldham this year. The Oldham Club has tried for a second time to sign Hadlee for the next English cricket season. A story from London yesterday claimed that the club was waiting for a reply from Hadlee to its offer. However, Hadlee, who shares the world test wicket record, said yesterday afternoon that he had told the club he was not interested.
