Lotto winner ‘shaking’
PA Wellington A Rotorua man who was “shaking like a leaf” claimed the first division Lotto prize of $700,740.80 yesterday. A regular Lotto player, the man had bought the winning ticket at the last minute on Saturday evening, said a Lotto retailer, Mr Darryl Heighway, yesterday. Using his favourite numbers in different combinations, the man also won a third and two fourth division prizes, bringing his total winnings to $701,288. More than 53,000 people shared the total pool prize of just over $2 million. ?
