Big response to November touragram

Margaret Forbes’ November touragram again drew an excellent response from readers. About two thirds of the entries received were correct. Mrs P. Smart, who recently moved from Christchurch to Greymouth, added a note with her entry to say she is now able to encourage her eldest grandson, Kelly, to take an interest in “The Press” touragram. Their joint entry was one of the five lucky ones qualifying for a gift voucher. Several entrants have asked if the words in the grid can be outlined with a marker pen instead of ringing with a ballpoint. The answer is “yes,” provided that the words are clearly defined. The special school class prize of $2O goes yet again to the pupils of Room 12, Kirkwood Intermediate School.
