$250M bills on offer
7A Wellington The Reserve Bank will yffer $250 million of Treasury bills in its regular weekly tender today. The bank said in a statement yesterday that it would jffer $l3O million of 107-day bills, $2O million of 98-day bills, $5O million of 63-day bills and $5O million of 56day bills. It said it would take $2OO million of the 98-day and $l5O million of the 107-day bills. The bank would conduct open market operations as
usual and the cash balance target remained $3O million. And the Bank withdrew $B5 million from money markets yesterday by selling Treasury bills. Bills worth $43 million maturing in January, 1988, were sold at rates between 16.47 and 16.60 per cent, $l3 million of April bills were sold at 16.75 per cent, and $29 million of July bills between 17.02 and 17.07 per cent. Bids totalled $229 million.
