Rent review right admitted
Members of the NgaiTahu Maori Trust Board yesterday welcomed what they described as an “admission” by the Mayor of Greymouth, Dr Barry Dallas, that the Mawhera Incorporation had a right to review
its rentals in Greymouth. Dr Dallas said in evidence to the tribunal that a seven-year term of lease would be preferrable to the proposed three or five years. He said that he was
