Accountancy charges
Sir,—R. Dixon’s comments (November 30) are certainly not those of a minority. The justification for such charges is said to lie in the high cost of overheads (prestige office accommodation, etc.). I wonder whether this is truly for the benefit of the client, who usually only visits the offices twice a year anyway and ends up paying for his own overheads as well as someone else’s. — Yours, etc., JOHN M. RENALL. November 30, 1987.
