Madonna on stamps

A Christmas aerogramme depicting a Maori Madonna and Child has been designed by New Zealand Post. The illustration comes from a stained glass window in St Werenfrid’s

Church, Waihi Village, near Tokaanu. The aerogrammes will be on sale at post offices from November 30 to January 29. The aerogrammes will be 30 cents each, five for $1.35, or 10 for $2.50.
