Recovered stolen items claimed
A number of stolen items recovered from a car driven by a suspected burglar have been claimed. A Crossman air pistol and knife have been picked up by their owners. The police were also hopeful that a person ini
quiring by telephone would identify a trinket box and jewellery as theirs. The items were among property in a car which crashed at Carlton Mill corner early on Tuesday after being chased by the police.
