Canadian Pacific for Walter Peak
PA Invercargill Canadian Pacific Hotels will manage and invest in New Zealand’s largest destination resort, to proceed at Walter Peak, Lake Wakitlpu, next year. CP Hotels has signed up with Walter Peak resort on the shores of Lake Wakatipu after more than
a year of study and negotiations. The resort chain will operate a 436-room luxury hotel, Fletcher Construction, awarded the original resort contract last year, will build the entire project, with construction expected to begin in April.
