Rebels return
PA Auckland The Fijian members of the rebel South Pacific rugby tour of South Africa will land in Suva today, facing the threat of action both by the interim government and the Fiji Rugby Union. However, at least the F.R.U. will postpone action after the International Rugby Board meeting in France next month. "We certainly won’t be going to, the airport to meet the players,” said George Pickering, the F.R.U. acting chairman. The F.R.U. placed the rebels under suspension while they were in South Africa, but deferred any other action — a lifetime ban was mentioned earlier — until the players returned add the F.R.U. had conducted ah Inquiry.
