Duties; To ovtnto the maintenance and running of the Alcoholism Assessment and Early Intervention Programme at Waikato Hospital. This involves establishing an alcohol screening system, providing training for staff on the Early Intervention Programme and providing sound counselling for patient* with early stage alcohol problems. Qualifications: Extensive social work experience required, preferably in the field of alcohol counselling, or an Interest in alcohol treatment or training.
