NO WORDS Talk about a record. Yen well, let's talk about a record. Was It because she hadn't got around to reading her horoscope that morning? (Surely it would have advised against making decisions? Or is that Thursday's advice?)

Anyway, a friend had very kindly lent her an old record from her extensive collection.

She only wanted to play It a couple of time; to record the words. She had It nicely parcelled up with “many thanks” noted on the wrapping, waiting a suitable occasion to return it.

The day dawned when she could kill two birds with one stone, as the woman she had to see lived right beside the kindly friend with this extensive collection.

Record In hand, business in the other

and one foot still on the floor mat, she asked herself, "Should she go in and drop the record off first, or pop In and get this other business over first?” She opted for the latter, quite forget* ting (how could she) that their daughters were "Australalslng” together. So in no time were absorbed in their offspring. Photographs came out, coffee offered, and she looked for a place to sit. Sure did. Right on top of the record she’d placed beside her gloves. Anguish, utter despair. For one main reason. It was an old “45,” one of its kind, and to makes matters worse, she hadn’t found a machine to play it on, so she hadn't even used it.

The recipient was extremely gracious and forgiving. If this is printed, it will be presented to her along with the cheque.
