Film unit sells video
PA Wellington The National Film Unit has signed a contract to distribute its home video, “Steam Lives On,” in Britain, said the Minister in charge of Publicity, Mr Moore. The unit expected to sell “tens of thousands of copies” of the movie in Britain. More than 600 copies had already been
sold to rail enthusiasts in New Zealand, Mr Moore said. The unit’s research showed its film had strong market potential in Britain, the United States, Germany and Australia. “Steam Lives On” was one of a range of film unit titles released on the home video market earlier this year, Mr Moore said.
