Satellite space sought
PA Wellington New Zealand is one of 162 countries preparing for a second international meeting to discuss the use of space for communication satellites, the Post-master-General, Mr Prebble has said. The World Administrative Radio conference (W.A.R.C.) in Geneva in August, 1988, would try. to guarantee that all countries get fair access to the part of space above the equator where a satellite can be positioned so that it rotates with the Earth.
