Govt support slips
PA Wellington Over-all support for the Government has slipped two points to 50 per cent, according to the latest Heylen “Eyewitness” poll. Of those stating a choice among the 900 polled in September, 50 per cent supported Labour, 45 per cejjj sup-
ported National and four per cent supported Democrats. Approval of the Government’s handling of the economy slipped 6 points to 45 per cent Only 36 per cent believed the economy would get better over the next 12 months, while 40 per cent said it was heading for trouble.
