PA Wellington The principal tenancy adjudicator, Ms Wendy Eyre,' will leave in December and the Justice Department is looking for someone to replace her. Ms Eyre came to New Zealand to help establish the tenancy tribunal under the Residential Tenancy Act which came into force in February. She had taken a year’s
leave of absence from her job as chairman of the South Australian residential tenancy tribunal. The Justice Department offers a salary of about $79,000. The main job of the tenancy tribunal is to settle disputes between tenants and landlords. The principal adjudicator has over-all responsibility for the tribunal throughout New Zealand, ;
