Beef schedule
1. The net beef export prices shown above in cents a kg carcase weight are calculated after deducting all levies (e.g. F.F., Meat Board, disease, extra A.C.C. charge). Transport still needs to be deducted. 2. To calculate the price for a weight range different to that indicated above, use the table to find out how much to add or subtract; e.g. for a 250 kg steer take off 6c/kg. 3. Spot premiums above these announced export prices are sometimes paid. Allowance has to be made for potential pool payments with some companies. 4. C. S. Stevens Group and Waitaki International not publishing schedules; Challenge and Alliance not open. 5. Changes: PPCS/CFM steer, heifer, and cow minus 5c per kg; bull minus 10c per kg. Information provided by AGRI-FAX.
