Y.M.C.A.’s Camp

The Christchurch Young Men’s Christian Association is running a camp for children aged five to eight-years-old over Labour Day weekend.

Camp Teddy Bear provides opportunities for swimming, boat-rides, sandcastle building, games, walks, films, hatmaking and most importantly, a Teddy Bear’s Picnic.

The camp will be held at Wainui, Banks Peninsula, and will cost $5O for food, transport, accommodation and all activities.

The campers will be in groups of six, with two trained leaders and Y.M.C.A. staff to supervise. Enrolment forms are available at the Y.M.C.A., 12 Hereford Street. For further information, telephone 60-689.
