Community awards

Community Service Awards were presented to Mrs Nola Moffett and Mr Leo Steel by the chairmen of the Hornby and Sockburn Community Councils at the Paparua County Council Chambers on Monday evening. terprising yuung person each year to attend an Outward Bound Course and another to travel on the Spirit of Adventure voyage. Miss Michelle Polglase, aged 17, a Burnside High School pupil, will go on the Spirit of Adventure voyage; and Miss Michelle Jack, aged 19, a bank offlicer from Weedons, will go on the Outward Bound Course.
