Company head has high profile
The head of White Knight Capital Limited, Mr Bob Radley, is well placed to bridge the gap between computer technology and its application in the business world. In a business area where the mystique of high-technology is often the rule Mr Radley provides a rare, public, exception. He is known in investment circles as the author of the book, “Profits from Shares,” of which he cites sales figures of 20,000 copies to date.
His expertise in tracking the vagaries of the sharemarket has earned Mr Radley a host spot on various radio stations. In addition he conducts seminars on sharemarket trading throughout New Zealand.
With the computer division Mr Radley has parlayed his knowledge of share trading into a growing array of software intended for professional and amateur investors.
The client base for this selection of software packages spans the spectrum from clients such
as the D.F.C, Westpac, Unilever and Renouf through to individual investors in remote areas such as Takaka, South Westland and Reefton. “We have established a vertical market in share market software,” Mr Radley said. “We have re-tailored leading lines of software to suit the New Zealand economic conditions.”
He contends that two Auckland market players have built an initial investment fund of $266,Hi into $4 million within a year using his software package.
“You can probe the market in seconds with these programmes that would have formerly taken two to three days of analysis,* he said.
