WAITANGI TRIBUNAL INQUIRY UNDER THE TREATY OF WAITANGI ACT 1975 Further to previous notice of the claim by Henare Rakiihia Tau and the Ngai-Tahu Maori Trust Board (WAI-27), the second hearing will commence at 9.30 a.m., Monday, September 21, 1987. The venue will be: TUAHIWI MARAE (Approx. 18 miles north of Christchurch) The hearing will deal with the Otakou (Otago), Murihlku (Southland) and Canterbury Districts (Kemps Purchase), and will follow the preliminary hearing into the cross claim filed by H. Tukupua and the Interim Committee of Kurahaupo Waka Trust. The tribunal will adjourn the hearing on the afternoon of Wednesday, September 23, 1987, and proceed to Kaikoura to inspect land.
