Kiwi Gold to look closer
PA Wellington Kiwi Gold N 1 plans further investigation of the gold deposits in its Jackgon Bay prospect near the mouth of the Arawata River, South Westland. Kiwi Gold has told the Stock Exchange that it had recovered gold from every interval in six holes drilled in beath deposits.
Assays of up to 750 mg per square metre were obtained in the sample and graded were expected to improve towards the base/ of tiie old beach deposits, it said. Kiwi Gold said a follow up programme involving a drill capable of going deeper would be started as soon as possible.
