Mandeville Marketing moves to new central premises

Products personalised with company and corporate logos which can be given away to clients are becoming increasingly popular. More clubs and organisations are using poducts that have been personalised especially for them,

such as golf balls and golf tees. It is this market which Mandeville Marketing supplies. John and Glenis Milne own Mandeville Marketing. The official opening of their new premises at Unit two, 7 Birmingham

Drive, near Addington Raceway, will be tomorrow, Thursday, September 17. Lady Stewart will open the building.

John Milne is the company director and Glenis Milne is the secretary. They are supported by a staff of three; lan Linney is the office manager

and the sales consultants are Rose Parkin and Alan O’Donoghue. They have chosen to relocate their business in Birmingham Drive because of its accessibility for both city and out-of-town clients. The absence of parking problems is an added bonus. Mandeville Marketing sells anything that can be personalised, John Milne says. Beginning with personalised desk clocks and watches, the company now has over 150 product lines, John Milne says. Their 16 styles of caps include baseball caps, golf visors, and cheese cutter hats. Belts, ties, hats, jackets and jerseys are all made up to customers’ requirements. The belts are leather with buckles that are imported from the United States and then personalised with a logo or whatever the client requires. Pens range from 35 cents each up to more than $6O each.

John Milne represents German Lamy pens and also sells Parker pens. Last year he was the top sales person for Scripto pens and won a trip to Norfolk Island for two weeks.

Matches, cigarette lighters, memo blocks, thermo mugs, paper tissues, emery boards,, bal-

loons are only a few of Mandeville Marketing’s products. They are the South Island agents for Hanna Match Ltd.

Recently their key rings which were made from sheepskin were taken to China on a trade mission.

Their pens have been taken to a conference in the United States.

Designer silk scarves from Japan are among their newer products. Clocks still feature in their product line-up, along with calculators, and tape measures. John Milne prides himself on a business which is entirely Canterburyowned and operated. “We pride outselves on attention to detail and service,” he says.
