Doctor takes leave
PA Auckland The former medical superintendant of Carrington Hospital, Dr John Radcliffe, has taken special leave. Dr Radcliffe was informed of his transfer from Carrington to a North Shore programme of quality assurance in medical care on Friday. The move took effect
immediately. “The place we are going to has no telephone,” he said. His wife said last evening that they were leaving Auckland for a holiday. The Carrington post will be filled in the meantime by the medical superin-tendent-in-chief of the Auckland Hospital Board, Dr Leslie Honeyman.
