T.O.P. Club plans reunion

One of Christchurch’s oldest weight-watching dubs, Trim Off Pounds, is organising a reunion of members next month. The T.O.P. Club, as it is known, was formed more than 60 years ago, and win celebrate its twentieth reunion on October 21 at 127 Lichfield Street

Over the years, the dub had had its share of successes and failures, said the secretary, Mrs Rae

Spiers. In a world of fed diets, the only really successful way that members of the dub had found to lose weight was through calo-rie-counting, said Mrs Spiers.

Former members interested in attending the reunion should advise their intention before October 6 by telephoning 486-008, 527-317, or 843999.
