Assault on guard
A security guard at Christchurch Women’s Hospital was assaulted after he attempted to break up a fight outside the hospital yesterday evening. The guard was admitted to Christchurch Hospital with moderately serious head and facial injuries. He had gone to investigate a scuffle taking place outside the hospital gates soon after 7 p.m. when he was set upon by the people involved.
