Council’s future debate
A public meeting to discuss the future of the Environmental Council will be held at the Arts Centre this evening. The topic to be discussed is “A citizen’s voice for the environment: is there a need for an environmental quango?” The meeting will be
held at the Epicentre in the Arts Centre, at 7.30 p.m. The council sees public participation as an essential part of the review process and welcomes public involvement at its meetings and in written submissions. The submissions must be lodged by October 30.
