In the first step of a new diversification programme, Miniskips New Zealand has entered a joint venture with Tidy Chain Pty of Melbourne. The joint venture would establish a manufacturing and distribution company based in Hong Kong to produce a series of patented storage devices developed by Tidy Chain, Miniskips managing director, Mr Dean Wotherspoon, said yester-
day. The company’s initial investment was expected to generate a 70 per cent return in the first budgeted period, he said. The Tidy Chain range is to be established in the United States and patents are pending in other countries.
The company was aiming for worldwide distribution of the products within two years, Mr Wotherspoon said.
